	Just an update - I tried some Swiss Fg last weekend, for the 1st time at 100m, and other than a POI about 3-4 MOA lower than with 1 1/2Fg, no special issues: Pretty good accuracy if I did my thing, and no special fouling issues with half a breath down the tube, followed by a single dry patch. Seems like she'll swallow just about anything and do well. The loads were dropped with a powder measure (Lee perfect powder measure), not weighed, so there probably was some variation in weight there. The buttplate has been changed to a more traditional one (english-style red rubber), the intention now is to get her match ready (season starts the 1st of may). meanwhile, I'll also experiment with a different lube and fireformed cases,to see what gives. Still looking for a BSA model 8 rear tang sight though...

	Last update - finally tried some fireformed cases today, with slip-fit bullets. When I thought the rifle/cartridge combination already shot pretty well with unformed brass and neck tension, I was wrong. With the same load, same bullet and CCI small pistol primers, that little Martini shoots lights out. Like producing ragged holes at 75m, from the prone, unsupported position - 2 point sling only and aperture sights. I normally don't shoot 10 shots under 2 MOA like that... I'll try and post the target tomorrow.

	Damn, sounds like you got a shooter on your hands. I had often thought of a 32-20 for my CPA for off hand practice and when I talked to CPA about it they had suggested a 14" twist barrel. Seems to me you have a winning combination on your hands. Thanks much for keeping us updated on this project. Sam

	If all goes well, this should be the target : Shot at 75m, prone, with sling, no rest Starline brass CCI sp primer 16.7grs of Swiss 1 1/2Fg Card wad 151gr 16/1 RN bullet, lubed with White lightning lube And the nut behind holding his tongue just right when pulling the trigger - and by no means did I get all perfect let-offs.

	The new mould arrived from Leo - this one for a PP bullet. I cast and patched up some bullets, loaded some cartridges. We'll see tomorrow how it does. Same load, same bullet design as for the GG bullet. It is a bore-dia. bullet patched up to groove diameter. Planned regime is to wipe with 2 wet, 1 dry - and see how she shoots...
