If I were to use a MTM Case_Guard plastic box , what size box with a lid will securely hold the 32-40 cases ? Thanks

I like the MTM R-100 box. Has a handle on top. I use the cork method in the shell and add a sheet of foam to the top of the box. Works like a charm. Dale.

I like the Caseguard 50 which is made for it along  with the other Win 94 cals ,  about 1/4 in.   clearance on length in case your loads are a little long

I'm a belt and suspenders guy; wrap a cinch strap through the handle and around the box as well.  I've seen those open with catastrophic results when not latched correctly.  THAT will ruin your day!

Are you asking about fixed load ammo, or empty, or primed/charged/corked case containers?

32-40 for breech seating loaded with primer and IMR 4227 powder probably with a cork or rubber stopper in the case mouth . 50% of my cases are formed from 30-30 Winchester cases and the other half are true 32-40 marked WCF cases. Would like a snap on lid with a carrying handle and at least a hundred round box .

Try a Plano 30-30, 50 or 100 count case. It has two latch points plus the cover is hinged and it will stay open. Just put a piece of foam to take up the small space that is left over.

I've been using  MTM 210 because that's all I had for 38-55, 4227 with card wad.  I had to run the boxes through the bandsaw to cut them off just above the bottom squares.  The top needs to be cut down also.  It's a bit of a nuisance but it works fine until I get something better.

Your looking for the DELUXE-R-100

Don't forget you can rotate the tray to adjust the tray height
