Has the little spring in your inertia bullet puller lost its tension.
Try an O ring.

A shell holder works very well too.

I have two of these inertia pullers. Both came with "O" rings fitted as standard. Never seen one with a spring.

There I was thinking I was telling you guys something clever!
My bullet puller has to be over forty years old I think. Cannot remember when or what country I bought it.

Have both, like the o-ring setup better.

Mine came with an O-ring, which is broken. But over the years it's glued itself into the pieces so it still works Wink

Nero,
thanks for the advise on the rubber O-ring, so simple of a fix it's almost brilliant. Have had problems with the metal rings for a long time. I'm on the way to the work shop to give it a try.
