I'm trying to find some pricing/ value info on Shiloh's 1874 military version. They used to make them. Its the infantry rifle not the carbine. I've searched high and low and can't find one to compare. If you have any info for me please email  Ken    garandman@woh.rr.com

I bought one a year or two ago on GunBroker in .45-70, mint condition, with leather sling.  I think I paid 1225 plus shipping.  What caliber is yours?

WOW.. I thought it would cost me more than that to buy one. Let me know if you see one for sale.

I bought one +/- 3 years ago; a Farmingdale one which had the patchbox (extra now); also on GunBroker.  Cost me $1800 if I remember right.  Mine is a 50-70.

My 2013 Shiloh catelog (the last year the military rifles were listed) listed both the percussion and CF military rifles at $2,154. Depending on condition and since Shiloh no longer builds this rifle, prices could run over the last listed price for a new unfired in the box to somewhere under. I see used ones easily average around $1,800.
