Winter project

I have a Swiss martini action stalking rifle in 9.3x53 rimless. I've had this rifle for 25 or so years & never fired it. I finally mounted a scope & fire formed brass. A 38 spcl seating die works as a neck sizing die. The inside neck diameter after resizing is .358. I plan to shoot a .364 plain base lead bullet. Is .006 a reasonable undersize to seat the bullet or do I need to expand to .360-.362 before seating. I plan to use 35 Remington data as a starting place to work up loads. Sound like a plan?
Thanks Mike

.006" is pretty tight.  With the softer alloys I use..20-1 I find too tight necks will size bullet base smaller.  I am using expander plugs from right at size to .001 or .002 at most under bullet dia.  Using a G.C. bullet will allow a somewhat tighter neck.

I'm currently playing with a set of 303 dies that are excessively sizing down and under expanding the neck. The net being .006" under bullet diameter
It's mangling 24:1 bullets during seating

Dies for jacketed bullets are never right for cast.  Invest in a Lyman "M" die, or make your own expanders for the dies you have.    Anneal necks to limit springback.
