jfeldman raised an issue that I would be interested in hearing from some of the .22 shooters on.
How do you separate / segregate match .22 ammo?  Is it by weight, rim thickness, concentricity or some other method? And where do you draw the line of the ammo acceptable for "Match Ammo" and the culls?

Probably is. I haven't received my order yet, but from the images both bullets look the same and both are supposed to fly at a 1100 fps.  Only difference I can see are the boxes and the TAC's are $2.00 a box cheaper.

All of the above.  Huh  Back in the 60's and 70's I shot a lot of .22BR and was always looking to squeeze out the elusive perfect one hole 5 shot group,
Some BR shooter wrote an article about the rim thickness gauge improving groups so I bought one and I separated my match ammo by rim thickness.  I would go through a brick grouping each pile and that was the way I shot them.  Groups did tighten.  Then the separate by weight craze came along.  Did that, but the only thing that shrunk was my piles of bullets. I was winding up with more, but smaller piles.
I found myself spending less time at the range and more time separating my .22 ammo, boxing it up, and filling up my record book with data.  All that to say is find what shoots best in your rifle and go fight the wind. Get some shooting buddies together and have an aspirin tablet shoot.  Shooting aspirin tablets at a 100 yds. will take its toll on the best shooters.
