Outstanding pictures, Ken.

I had no idea that ANYONE had a SS collection so extensive.

Thank you, very much,

Frank

That is an astounding collection of single shots.  It must have been interesting to spend some time with them.  Thank you for the pictures.

Chris.

I met Ron when we were both at the NRA National Gun Show in Puyallup, Wa. in 2001. I found him to be a gentleman, and very interesting to visit with. He's one of those guys who comes off as an average gun guy, and very free with information and answers for those of us less schooled. I immediately liked him.

I had the opportunity to sit next to Ron at dinner last November at the Amoskeag auction. In fact that Peterson Bllard he is holding in the photo came from the John Wills collection. He was very polite and gave me his opinions based on his decades of buying/selling and collecting experiences. It was a great opportunity.

I sure do wish his website showed a list of the rifles he has for sale. He has an excellent sense for collectibility and value.

Wow! Wish I had a place to display my collection like that, not that I have anywhere that many.

I bought my first rifle from Ron over 50 years ago. He is a straight up guy whose friendship I have valued all these years. At a show he is the one the other dealers come to for an opinion. I have been in that vault several times and it takes me a day to get my tongue back in my mouth. No one deserves that collection more than Ron. I think I may have spotted my next rifle in that rack behind him in the first picture Wink

I have been chasing single shots for more than 50 years, but there are a few in those photos that I cannot identify.  Can we build a list here?

Top photo:
Left:
#3  Alex Henry?
#4  ?  muzzle loader?
#5  ?  Frank Wesson?
#7  Peabody-Martini, but which maker?

Right:
Cannot see enough to clearly ID many, but what is #5, the one above the Maynard?  It is on the right in photo 2 and I still cannot ID it.

Photo 2:
2nd rack from left:
There are 2 rifles above the Hepburn & the Trapdoors and another below the Trapdoors that I do not recognize.
