Lyman 310 numbering of priming dies

Do the 310 priming dies for cases having the same head (like 30-30, 32-40,38-55,etc.) have the same number stamped on them or are they numbered according to the cartridge the priming die was sold with?

Back in the days when the 310 dies were stamped with a number code, all of the cartridges you mentioned would have a priming chamber stamped with the number 6.

BP - Thanks for the response. I take it to mean that all priming dies for the same cartridge head have the same number. Yes? Do you happen to know the number that would be on a priming die for a 25-20 SS?

is0086s,

You can use the same priming die for all cases sharing the same cartridge (head) base and rim dimensions.
Lyman once made dies for the 22 Lovell, which was based on the 25-20SS case. This priming die was stamped with the number 19.
You might want to contact the 310 Shop to see if Rick can supply you with one.
