Does anyone have an illustration or photograph of what a Maynard breech seater looks like? Thanks for your answer, Hank45

Hi Hank --

I have a mechanical bullet/breech seater tool that I use with my Maynard rifles, however, it was not manufactured by Mass Arms Co. during the correct time period.

Glad to send you a photo attachment if you are interested in seeing it.

WAS there a factory-made tool for breech-seating bullets separate for the charged case?   For that matter did ANY of the gun manufacturers do so?     I have always thought that it was an aftermarket development for and by the American Schuetzen "sport"

All the Maynards that I have seen breech seated used a simple push seater. I have seen them done with a round handle like a Pope palm rest and with a T handle. There is nothing to hang on to for a mechanical seater.

Nice looking push-style breech seaters.

Are they actually factory tools made BY Maynard or are they tools made for use WITH Maynard target rifles?
They look to be almost identical except for the case size. Huh
