I call it a 30 Dell, because it is chambered with his 32 roughing reamer, but it could also be called 30/30 Wesson Short, another one of my rifles that will shoot better than I'm capable of shooting.  Ledball

Ledball, that's good to know. Are you using the full length 357 Max brass? 

I'm installing a 30 cal RKS barrel on my Hoch and will use the full length Max case.

No, my 357 Max brass is 1.55 long, just a little short of full length.  The Borton 30 cal bullet works good with this cartridge.  Ledball
