Give it a try. My friend uses the same powder in a 25 schuetzen.

My std. accuracy powder with cast has always been H4227..but I have discovered VVN110 to be just as or slightly better in accuracy and bore is left very clean.  This burns slightly slower than H4227, but I find I need to use a gas-checked bullet for accuracy..I need to work some more with this powder & plain-base bullets.

I had high hopes for this powder in my 33 ELCO (on the max case), I started just below my best velocity range of 1470 - 80 and when to 1500+ and it didn't do as well as 4227 and 4227 doesn't do well with my chambering. I only tried one primer though, Rem 7 1/2.

AA #9 is the only powder that I've tried, that I gives good accuracy.

Your experience mirrors mine with N110. Its burn rate is about right and it does burn clean It was just never as accurate as the other powders that I used in the cases I tried it in. I finally gave up on it.

I've always heard good things about V V powders (except price) and I got my sealed #2 can for only $20 Smiley

I hope others might try it in standard size case and report their finding. I may give it another chance with pistol primers but, unless it's like 4759 I'm not holding out any hope for it.

Years ago Ralph MacDonald tested VV N110 in the 32 RKS.

It almost performed as well as AA#9, H108 or WC820.
However double the cost for it could not justify it's use unless it had greatly improved accuracy (which it never did).

I've tested with it in my .32-20CPA. Not favorably impressed. Moved on.
