Edwards Optical scope crosshair

I just uncovered this scope again after my recent move. It is a Edwards scope about(not marked) 6 power. What I found unusual was the reticule. Three vertical and three horizontal, elementary range finding system?? Anybody know.

After further research, the scope is an early Litschert with the pope rib. The objective is an Edwards sight co. booster. Anybody else have a scope with this cross hair configuration?

I don't have a X-hair like that but, I do have a Edwards booter for one of my Lyman Alaskan scopes.
