Don't be afraid to use 3F Goex in either the .45-70 or 90.
It's all I use with a PJ Creedmoor GG bullet.

Jeff, you 1st have to know the 200yd MOA setting that puts a bullet on the target. This is called a base line MOA setting.
Next go to the trajectory table provided on the thread.
If YOUR 200yd base line is more or less ... then add or subtract the difference from the 24 MOA #200yds and then add to the MOA @ 1000yds in the trajectory table. This should put you on the paper and then fine tune your MOA.
Remember ... at 1000yds, 1 MOA = 10 inches

Assuming that your "sight radius" is at of near 36 inches, and using your 100 yard setting, you will need to go up on the rear sight close to 2 inches to reach 1000 yards. Assuming you are at or near 1300 fps.
Just hold center and trust your spotter!
