For those who are interested in the subject of dynamic stability, the following YouTube video may be of some interest.  Skip to 3:40 to view slow motion video of a dynamically unstable "projectile" travelling toward a target.  The rest of the video is thoroughly off-topic for this forum but entertaining nonetheless.
