Thanks a lot.I have 2  40/65s and I know the 16 twist works well in them to the ram line but I was unsure of the 14.5 twist in the 40-60 Maynard ,so I will wait .Bill

For what it's worth, I just ordered the BACo M4 $$ mold with the base-band doubled in width to see if I can get another 10gr, or so, of weight. My current mold casts at 412gr, so am hoping to get 425gr, or so. The way things go it will probably be 430gr+, which won't be a bad thing.

Have the 38cal BACo 325gr & 365gr $$ molds and a Brooks 340gr $$ mold. All shoot great in 38-56WCF 14" twist barrel. Also have a 300gr 38cal mold I made that I'm testing. Assume they will all work well in my 38-50 Hepburn's 14" twist barrel once I get it back.

Know what you mean about the weather. Wind chill high today is 29F. Will be shooting a round of sporting clays. Think we will shoot the back course. It is through the woods and only a couple of stations are windy.
