Why is it that in the 'Wants and For Sale adverts there seems to be a great reluctance to sell anywhere outside The Lower 48 States. I have no great difficulty in buying items from Brownell's and the Little Machine Shop and other suppliers?
Is this something O'Bummer has introduced. I have noted that with some machine tools I have purchased there in a US 'Gubmint' Warning letter threatening me with Nuclear annihilation, the US Navy Seals, Delta Force, cruise missiles and smart bombs if the item I have purchased is used in the manufacture of any item that is intended to cause harm either the USA it's armed forces or equipment or any American private property or persons. Hells flames, all I had bought was a tap with a US thread on it.

After all you people burnt the Whitehouse. Would you be interested in a contract job on the Capital? The election did not clean it up much.

The order that I received from Brownell's 2 weeks ago had a note saying about the same thing as you wrote about. I don't know what this country is coming to. ron

Sounds like a spew of legaleze created by members of the legal profession in order to be able to bill more time to increase their accounts receivable.

One of the reasons for the warning letter is the fact that there have been several high profile arrests made when machine tools capable of producing parts for rockets and other items of war were exported to Iran by U.S. citizens who were only interested in making money. Thus, any tool like items going outside the states have that warning attached.

look out Harry it takes some taps to make missiles. I like that they think the bad guys are going to care about a letter. Like everything else just keeps honest people honest, I guess.

Checked the restrictions for export from the U.S. to Canada once.
I was able to import "nuclear triggers" but Homeland Security does not allow the export of "black powder cartridge cases" to Canada.
Brownell's will not export scope mounting screws to Canada since they consider them to be firearm components.

A good machinist with a decent shop can make pretty much anything. Sort of an exercise in futility.

Why not get the nuclear triggers then trade them for BP cases?
I'm sure North Korea and Iran would love to get a few triggers. Bet they'd be glad to come get 'em too!

You
might laugh, but some years ago a 10-year-old boy unmolished himself by standing on the parapet of a bridge over a railway, and peed on the overhead wires. 15,000 v, IIRC.

Hum: I bet the 28-30-120 chamber reamer I shall be ordering when funds permit will be noted...
