Question-Fixed Ammo, Seat Bullet to Engage Rifling

Using fixed, cast .32-40, going to experiment in spring to see if engaging rifling will improve accuracy.  If engaging rifling, case mouth at second band, first grease groove will be (totally) exposed.

QUESTION: should first grease groove still contain lube?

Probably unless accuracy is better if there is no lube in it.
