From what I can tell, they appear to be the same as the other larger Rollers. I got mine from John King for my #1, so might give him a call.

The metal forearm tips on my #2's are smaller in size than those on my #1's and Hepburns.
I haven't found a source other than pulling one off of a beat up original forearm.

I have seen them for the 1 & 1 1/2's.
The #2 rifle I'm working on will be re-stocked somewhat in the style of the early "schuetzenized" custom rifles.  I have the original wood with a badly beat up forend, however the rifle is a later model without the metal tip.

I Have 4 of these little rascals on stocks that I have replaced with Left hand stocks.  A couple are on junk forearms that will never be used again.  However I am a little reluctant to part with them right now. Stay in touch, I may change my mind.

Will you be going with the later style forearm using the narrow ebony tip insert?

I really want to do the metal tip IF I can come up with one.  I figured that someone had come up with repros,  they seem to have done darn near everything else.

I have one you can have. PM me with your address and I'll send along next week.  If you want to purchase one, John King in MT sells them. Am sure you could also purchase from DZ Arms.

Another source for these is The Rifle Shoppe. (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) They list them in two sizes. The smaller one is correct for the Number 2 and Number 4.
Here's some pictures of one I installed on a Number 4 recently.

Had to go look at my Rollers, and see the difference in the nose caps. My #1 is indeed larger, but my #1 1/2 and #2 both have the same size tips. I wonder if it may be because my 1 1/2 is a smaller .22RF barrel, and similar dimensions to my #2 in .32-20 ?
