John Boy, Sorry to hear that you had Sandy visit! I get wet basement floor and I'm beside myself.

Where do you get the mutton tallow?

I'd like to try is recipe. Is this % of mix by weight or by volume?

Sendaro, try Dixie Gun Works, I have purchased mutton tallow from them in the past.

John Boy's lube recipe works very well. It pretty much solved a leading problem in one of my rifles. But if you are going to mix it as 1 pound of tallow, 1 pound od paraffin and 1/2 pound of bees wax order two tubs of tallow from Dixie as the two I bought weighed in the range of 14 ounces each tub and all.
