Looks like a nice rifle but is it chambered for too high a chamber pressure cartridge?
It seems to me that it is.  I was thinking of bidding on it but I am a little leary.

Low Walls were chambered in pistol calibers. 222 rimmed is probably 45,000 psi. This is an Winder Musket and was probably not heat treated.

Back in the 70's I had a Low Wall which had been sleeved to 218 Bee.  Never had any problems with it, but I have no idea what the chamber presures were.

Ballards may be weaker,

I'd buy it, if it was cheap enough. But I'd change the barrel out to a more suitable caliber.

Too much club. Buy it and change it to a sutiable caliber if you can get it cheap enough.

I decided I did not need any more projects and did not bid.  It went for I consider the value of the action and
barrel.  Could have been a good project for someone but not me.
