Mystery tang sight?

I picked up a vernier tang sight a few days ago at the Reno gun show. It's a mid range height, and seems to be well made, and tight. It's marked on the staff, near the bottom with the marking, "Pony Express".
Anyone have any idea who made these, or info about them? It's spaced 1.90" for Remington.

Made by the old Pony Express sport shop when it was in Encino Ca. They had these made up back when no sights were available. Joe Elethorp and Ray Howser owned the store.
