I had been told this was a Dell,  but it has no acorn trademark,   any idea who made it?  It has a small set screw  on the other side to change the die.

This one follows the same general concept as Charlie's which was an adaptation of Pope's which was an adaptation of a West Coast design credited to Chick Martines (sp??)  There are several distinctions between this one and Charlie's design, so it is certain that this didn't come from him, hence no chinquapin acorn stamp.  Somebody made a workable interpretation of the design based on what they had to work with.  BTW, another commercial effort at the lube pump was made by Andela Tool Works back in the '70s to '80s or so... yet another design.
