I need help with a Remington RB # 2

I disassembled one some time back to bed a stock and like a dumb a*& didn't take a picture of the removable tang to see how the trigger and parts went back together.  Can someone please email me a copy of a schematic for a # 2 Cry.  I thought I would remember how it came apart but you know how senility is!!  If worse comes to worse I could take another one apart but hopefully someone has a copy.

Don't have a schematic with me at the moment, but going from memory, the lower tang retains the trigger and trigger pin, sear and sear pin and the spring that tensions both the sear and breach block.

The flat tail of the sear fits into the notches at the rear of the trigger.
Put the main bend of the spring to the front of the trigger guard. The leaf of the spring that has the half circle goes downward, and the trigger pin is installed over the half circle to retain both the spring and the trigger in the lower tang.

There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading, the few who learn by observation, and the rest who have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.

Tried again with a jpg file.  If that doesn't work I'll just post on forum.

Alan

Been out of pocket the last few hours.  I did receive the emails.

Thanks a bunch.

In the meantime this morning I disassembled another # 2 and found my problem the sear breach block spring (Item # 20) was missing half of the spring.  I need to find another one, will start looking for sources. Cry Cry

Rollingblockparts dot com is where I got mine.   Seems like there is one other source but don't remember where.

My sear catch on my hammer is chipped, so I need to find a way to fix that or get a new hammer.(not an easy part to find)
