	Here is the last PAGE of new members signing up on the forum. Does anybody think they are real people interested in single shot rifles? I sure as hell do not. Why is just anybody allowed to sign in as members with no email or no posts. I wish whomever is letting them join up gets the 50 to 70 emails a day that is just crap. Maybe I'll start forwarding ever email to the moderators so they can enjoy also. 	I agree, wonder how many will show up peddling something or with links to their ads on ebay or gun flogger. I really think we need to tighten up the basic requirements some. With a VALID Email address as a rock bottom basic requirement.

	took me many months of membership to find a rifle. then when I proudly posted pictures I got slimed on by some arrogant elitist, and I got alot of backdoor emails making ridiculous unrelated offers. and then you slime on new members for just joining and lurking until they have something to say or show for real... oh, and they you can slime on them for that. wow... such a polite forum... now I remember why I haven't logged in in so long. guess it's time to go somewhere else where the air is less fragrant. you can ban me now... ftttttttttttttt, oh that's what the slimer said about my rifle.

	I got the hint that they were all phony when I went to the letter S in the members list. A big portion of the names are women and none have ever posted. We need to find a way to fix that.

	Most forums have many members who rarely post. Just as wakosama said, they get ridiculed when they do. Hard to attract really interested SS people when this is happening. If there is a lot of spam getting through this site, I've been lucky, I haven't seen it yet.

	I have no problem with people who join to lurk and learn. The old adage of “It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt” comes to mind. However there should be some standards a valid email address should be a minimum requirement. Also report all unwanted and unusual activity to the Webmeister. 40 Rod
