This is the one many have been waiting for, this sale includes the rifles of Michael Petrov and his gunsmith friend John C. Wills and his wife Jan. A fascinating collection of rare rifles. Ballards, Sharps, Remingtons, etc.,etc. Some famous rifles some superb single shots with the odd Pope and Zischang thrown in, some rare Civil War Rifles and Carbines and hand guns galore, there's even an original Colt Gatling in 45/70 with 10 barrels. All up for auction on Saturday 22nd Nov. The Sale the following day has yet to be posted. See:-

Good luck if your buying, but you'll need a lot of cash for some items. Before you open the page, cover your key board with something waterproof, a lot of these firearms are really drool or tear inducing. Cry

There are some very interesting single shots there.  I see that Niedner's underhammer rifle is there.  I've read about this rifle in Ned Roberts' book.  That one would be a nice addition to my collection of single shots!

All it takes is money.  The hammer price for the 6 that I really like will probably be $30,000.  And then there is the buyer's premium, shipping & insurance.  And the Sunday catalog has not been posted.

The Sunday listing for the auction is now out just click on the URL in my first post, that will get you there.  Wink
A few common single shots, rollers, Ruger 1's and 3's. Some interesting early bolt actions but also a lot of Commemorative stuff. For the Stevens  collector there are five or six tip up single shot pistols mainly with good looking target sights. Sorry I didn't note the numbers, you'll have to look for them yourselves. There's no rubbish here either. Roll Eyes
