40-65 Fixd..IMR 4895

I was wondering ,anyone having any luck with IMR 4895 in fixd loads, 40-65? Lyman says accurate load.

i had very good results with  4198,  22-23 grains and a lyman snover bullet   art

Am using 39 grs behind a 260 gr (#403169 Lyman) bullet in a 1895 Marlin.  30 gr RL#7 and the and bullet also works - speed on these is about 1400 FPS out of a 26 inch barrel and accuracy is as good as I can expect with open sights.

I use IMR4895 in a Shiloh 40-65. I can get groups at and under 1 in using Saeco 640, Nei 385 and Lyman 410660, all using 30 gr. Have tried some the fast burning powders Accurate 5744, IMR 4759 which works in some other calibers but the Shiloh likes IMR4895.

I do not use a filler with IMR 4895

I'm using 30.5 of IMR4895 under Lymans 410663 bullet cast of WW(BHN=9) with great accuracy out to 500 yards.  This in my wife's rolling block.  Velocity is just under 1300fps..
No fillers required.....
