BSA Model 8 220LR Martini action rifle

Yesterday, I picked up a nice example of what I think is a BSA Model 8 22LR target rifle. Its very much the same as the Model 12 but with a 25 1/4" barrel instead of a 29", a slim fore end instead of a beaver tail, and no click stops on the vernier tang sight. The serial number is in the high 17,000's and from what I pick up "on line", this would put manufacture somewhere around 1923. Birmingham, England was a prime target of the Luftwaffe during WWII and surviving production records are spotty at best. After 90+yrs of use and storage I need to pull the action down, clean out gunk, lube, and apply some TLC. What I lack is take down and maintenance instructions. I suppose I could accomplish this 'by guess and by gosh', but I'd rather have some instructions so I don't do something stupid (I'm all too good at that and don't need any additional practice).

Does anyone out there have some maintenance instructions (perhaps for a model 12 which was similar) that they could scan and Email me to get me started?  (lance.hunter@verizon.net)

Any help would be appreciated,

Lance Hunter
