Whenever I have bought a firearm I have always made a set of turnscrews specifically for that rifle or pistol, irrespective of it's age, when I sold or otherwise disposed of a particular firearm the turnscrews went with it, in fact the only firearm I never had to make them for was a 44 Automag which came with Allen screws and precision Allen keys.

They are easy to make if you have a vertical mill and a rotary table. The one thing I hate to see on a firearm is bu**ered screw heads, it shows that a previous owner(s) didn't really care about looking after his firearm.  Angry It's also the first thing I look at when examining a possible purchase. It isn't difficult to repair such damaged screws, but I'd prefer not to have to do it in the first place. Smiley

I use the Grace screwdrivers adjusted to fit the screws I use them on.

All the screw drivers I have tried, including so called "gunsmith screwdrivers" have a point that is TOO THICK. I have to grind to fit.
