Bobsled or anti-cante plate

Is a shooter allowed to use an anti-cante plate on the barrel or forearm of the rifle in ASSRA matches. The rifles that I shoot in the matches are original ones for the most part. They are not a benchrest rifle and when shooting them from the benchrest they are kind a like a boat out of water. I have seen old photos where there is a plate fixed to the underside of the barrel for the barrel to rest on the front rest. Is this legal to use one of these in ASSRA competition? If it is are there any being made today and for sale?

They are perfectly OK.
