My experience with cheap digital scales can't be published on a family-friendly forum.   I do still have one that I use for weighing model airplane parts.  Zero it, weigh the part within 10-15 seconds before the zero drifts off, and it's OK.

Only digital in my reloading area is a 'pre-owned'  Pact BBKII that I picked up at a gun show for about $40.   I had to learn how to do the "factory reset" before it would work at all, and even so it drifts off zero every minute or two.   I use it for weighing .22 ammo, and bullets - never powder.

IMHO if you need the scale to be cheap, revert to a beam balance and be happy.   I am.

In my humble opinion the biggest advantage with digital scales is when using them for weighing bullets, just so quick. as for powder I used an RCBS 10-10 which will probably last forever and doesn't need batteries. As I only shoot black powder I'm probably wasting my time weighing each load anyway as my Lee powder measure is accurate within a couple of tenths.
