32-40 formed brass....is there a market?

Call this thread a 'feeler' I guess.....

I'm an avid shooter, and do quite a bit of handloading in the calibers I shoot.  I do some brass forming...but not for any reason other than to feed the things I shoot.

I found a set of RCBS 58220 form dies in a recent estate sale lot I purchased...they are for forming 32-40 from 38-55.  I know 38-55 is fairly available these days, and 32-40 seems harder to find.  So....my question is:  If I were to start forming 32-40 from 38-55 and offering it for sale, what would the market be?  If using Starline brass, what would a good price/case be?

Option #2...would anyone be interested in the dies?  They're about $170 new.....obviously I wouldn't want to get anywhere near that for them, but???  Anyone need these in their lives??

Thanks!  Chris.

Chris you probably are not getting replies because most people just run .38-55 brass through a .32-40 full length sizing die. It's fast and simple.

Thanks, gunlaker.  I figured that would be the case, as my research into the two calibers suggested most folks were forming their own.

Never hurts to ask though....I have found a lot of folks who love to shoot, but don't have the time for forming/loading, etc.  It's been fun to sort through this old stuff and learn!
