A New 338 Bullet Mold

I was asked to design a 33 caliber Loverin type bullet mold over on the NOE mold forum. Since I shoot a 33 caliber rifle, it interested me, too.

It's design is for several modern day cartridges, as well as the 33 Winchester lever action  cartridge, with their neck, throat and COAL , in mind. But, it can also be used for breech seating and will BS easily. it will also stabilize in twists as slow as 16.

The price will be $67 (2 cav) if we can get 7 more buyers to sign up. For us that shoot 33's, there isn't many molds available to us and this would make a excellent addition.

This is the link to the group buy discussion:

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

And this is the PB version of it.

I'd be intetested in one of the molds, but don't want to join another forum. Is it still possible?

Thank you, John.
It's been a great pleasure for me to see you and your wife start into this this line of shooting.

WCF3840,
I'll check into that for you.

Hi Frank, Looks like it might be a good experimenter in my 33.  What kind of blocks will it be in?

Tony, thank you but, wishful thinking is all you'll get if I shoot it too  Smiley

Bob,
The standard blocks are aluminum but, NOE has optional brass.

What kind of handles do they fit?  Did you find out if you have to join the other forum to buy one?  Thanks, Bob

Frank,

I would also take one if arrangements can be arranged like wcf3840 suggested so I don't need to join another forum. Looks like it would work in my 33-40 Ballard with a Pope barrel.
Thanks--- Richard

I sent a message to Al, at NOE regarding joining the forum to order. I'll let you know what his answer is.

I would be interested in purchasing one of the molds.  I do prefer single cavity large block molds if possible.

Thanks for the invite to the ASSAR forum.
This looks like a great place - full of great information.
Time to get the old Stevens 32-40 out and start playing with it again.

Would like to extend an invitation to all the members here to come and see our forum too.
We have tried group buys across multiple forums and have had a real hard time keep track of them.
That's the biggest reason for starting our own forum.

We can try to keep a list of your orders here but it would be a lot better if we could work it out and you join us.

We do offer members a 15% discount on our group buys too.
All our moulds use LEE large (6 cavity) handles.

I look forward to visiting this forum and learning all I can

Ok, so far, I have the following that what this mold:

1. WCF3840 - brass

2. Crown-C - brass

3. Tonysplace - brass

4. Insert Caddy

5. huggabean - aluminum

6. pmcfall - brass

7. Westerner - brass

There is one more that hasn't gotten back to me to save he want's it for sure.

Schuetzenmiester and I are signed up over at the NOE site, along with two, most likely, three others. So, if the 5th one that contacted me will sign on here, that will make at least nine, if not ten and that will start the tooling and get it on the production schedule.

I know at least two more guys on our forum that can use this mold, what do you say? You won't find a better buy on a good 33 cal bullet mold!
