Very nice old Highwall. I have always admired the Helm stock. Enjoy that fine rifle. And it's left handed, even better!

I am R/H but couldnt resist this gun, and would probably not get another chance at one for reasonable money , Without the cheekpiece on my side, the high stock seems to fit me OK. Im sure Lefties often shoot R/H guns

I'm RH too, but I'd take that gun in a second! I'd even teach myself to shoot lefty if I had one that pretty!

That is excellent!   I'm a lefty and always keep my eyes open for left handed highwalls.  I have an original left handed Special Single Shot, but the remainder of my left handed rifles are modern reproductions.

I've always wondered how many left handed schuetzen rifles were made.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Chris.

Thanks for comments Guys !
I am impatiently waiting to shoot it and will report back. It was not meant for breach seating as It strongly engraves a .321 lead bullet . Hard to cam close the action with 323470 bullet seated about .100 over standard   OAL spec
Dont have the cartridge  in front of me , but as I recall , it was engraved back about 1/8 from case mouth

Thanks for posting that beautiful work of art.  In the late 1980's I had Paul Shuttleworth make me a left hand stock and fore arm that could be the LH twin to yours.  My High Wall was in .32-40, also.  I had the Pope style hand rest.  I did wind up cutting the upper prong off the butt plate because it dug into my shoulder.
You will enjoy, but in case you don't..................... Wink
