I'm looking for 25 20 WCF brass or bullets.  Searched the net high and low even ebay and gunbroker.  Everything is out of stock with some no back order.  The only one that looks promising is Buffalo Arms.  I understand that this is a seasonal run of brass and ammo.  When is the season?  Advise me.

I didn't mean bullets.  I meant to say brass or ammo.

Best of luck! I have had an order for 25-20 WCF & .577 Snider with Buffalo Arms since January, so I am not sure which season they may be talking about!
Finally bought a new box of 25-20 and when they are shot up I will reload them as I have the molds. I am looking for a used set of 25-20 dies if anyone has a set they care to part with. ( Member of the forum sold me a set of dies)
Good luck--- Richard

Also purchased and am shooting up 100rds of Remington factory ammo in order to get brass (which the 25-20WCF shooters tell me will last 20-30 shots vs. only 1-5 shots with Win brass). I have 100 new Win brass, but am not expecting it to last long. Try GunBroker for ammo. Generally some there. But, don't expect factory ammo to be cheap, regardless of the source. Also, Starline has 32-20 listed as a case they make. Purchase 32-20 and size it down to 25-20.

You  might look at annealling neck and shoulder on that 25-20WCF WW
brass. May make it last longer.

Try Rocky Mountain Cartridge.  They show 20 for $52.50.  If you do buy some I'd be interested in how they stand up.  I have just started shooting the 25-20 WCF using Remington brass and have yet to lose one.

I have had good luck with Win 25-20 brass , various lots spanning 35 yrs , I would expect 20 firings, except in a Marlin 27S that has a semi Improved chamber ( sloppy ) and cant FLS for it, or will get head separation in 2 shots

$52.50 for 20 pieces of 25-20 brass is a rip. Check with Reeds.

Expensive but, not a rip off. They are machined from solid brass stock.

They won't expand to fit the chamber either, it is best to send in a cerrosafe casting or the necks might fold. I once had six 32-40 cases a friend gave me to try, 3 large rifle primer and 3 small my chamber was slightly different than his and they lasted one shot each. They are also typically reduced capacity cases as the interior is bored cylindrical. Great for wad placement and a seater case as well, I saved one good one just for that purpose.
