I may have posted pictures of my re-do of left hand stock and forearm for this rifle before, and if so I apologize.  In any case the wood is a piece of firewood Black Walnut from a local sawmill.  I have some Claro and might make another later of a better grade of wood

Like the finish detail on the comb and roll-over cheek-piece. Always a clumsy area.
