How to register on the forum (Read 5160 times)

	My friend, a member of ASSRA, is looking to join the forum but did not find any information to register. Where can I direct him to look? ron

	Has he tried clicking the Register button in the navigation bar right above your post? Just asking

	The button marked REGISTER is right next to (on your right) the button marked "LOGIN" which you would have clicked on in order to post the original question.

	Hi Ron --- This is a " follow up " on your friend's progress to becoming a forum member ? I just by accident stumbled into the forum's " HELP " menu and found a very " friendly " and thoughtful message to site visitors who are seeking membership. Credit goes to Josh for an excellent job ! CMM

	Might sound like a gremlin but I had (have) the same issue. My menu bar reads like this: Home-Help-Search-Members-Member Map-User CP-Logout and ASSRA HomePage. No Register button anywhere but on the log-in page and it's grayed out. Talking to a buddy I told him I knew right were to direct him and over the phone we both found the same thing. Nothing happens when you select the gray'd out font in the "Register" button there either. When I go to the Dr's help file, it tells me "in the menu above, click register. There is not register in that menu bar! I got on here somehow but I couldn't tell you how I did it now.

	If you read the notice you will find this paragraph: This means we need to look into moving the ASSRA server to a real hosting service. In the meantime, since we cannot send out emails for validation, I have turned off new user signups to the forums. We will work something out soon to where prospective new users can email someone to have their new account manually created.
