Part Two -- Maynard photographs as seen at the "The Maryland Maynard Man's Match" in Thurmont, Maryland" ;

Enjoy,  these are fantastic examples, and each one is a tribute and honor to Doctor Edward Maynard who conceived them in his intellectual mind and brought those ideas to fruition through his mechanical genius.

Best regards,

It looks like you folks had a excellent turn out for the first match. I am sure that drool rags were plentiful. Was the poster for The Best Shot at the match? Are copies available.

Nice to hear that the match went well. Yes I would like to get a CD of the target. Would you please send me a PM with the contact for Chris.

I will be going to work on the 17th of Aug for a week so, I will be going into the gun room at break time to check the single shot rifles. Maynards are always the ones that I look for first. I do know that we have several SS rifles in the up coming auction. As soon as I know the lot numbers I will list them on here.

My Maynard is nothing to look at, there is not a bit of finish on the metal, but it is all mine.

   I need to make an addition for clarification; the rifles and carbines which are shown in the rack in the vertical are the arms owned by the fellas who came to the match to shoot.

  Whereas, the Maynards which are shown on the table in the horizontal position are the arms owned by a very generous and gracious gentleman who took his personal time away from other things on Saturday to pay us a visit at Thurmont, Md. in order to provide us with an opportunity to learn more about Maynard firearms.  His name is Allen and he is good friends with our friend, John Bly.

Thanks Allen and John for your contribution.

  There is a good possibility that an encore performance is in the making for 2015 of what will in the future be called the "Annual Maynard Match of the Loyal Brotherhood of Marksmen" if that doesn't scare away too many of the faint hearted.

This match, with the cooperation of all concerned, will be bigger and better, if you chose to make so.
