Track of the Wolf has verniers that are 1.510" on center for replica mid ranges but the screws are metric.
So, looking for a source for the Stevens screws ... Thanks for looking

The screws are 5 x 40. You should be able to get panhead 5 x 40's at most hardware stores.

When I got mine, the only thing they had were zink plated. I buffed the zink off and used them after blueing. The panhead isn't the quite the right shape (to High) but you cand turn it so it looks "right". I used mine as is.

Thanks Frank, have a good hardware store 3 blocks down the street.  Put the zinc ones in the rotary tumbler, the media will polish them down to bare metal - ready to be blued

I've never seen 5/40 screws at a hardware store but, plenty of 4/40 screws, maybe I need to look a little closer.  Ledball

There are a couple of sets on Ebay. They are both from Kens Machine...???? He also has Ballard screws. I haven't bought any and know nothing of the quality.

The 5 x 40's are usually with the cheaper galvanized screws. Otherwise known as 1/8" screws.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Ken is a member here, and his screws are very high quality! I've used a lot of them, and all perfect fit.
