Joe did your rifle come from Jim as well, I didn't see it in Tony's collection.

John,
The rifle that I'm refering to is a HW that was sold to Joe's son by Tony. I liked it very much but, did not have anywhere near the funds to buy it
I do hope he post's it but, it's his rifle and I will get to see it again

No. Don't know what Jim you are referring to. Unless you're thinking of Chuck Bordman.
Found out today, the stocks on my rifle were hand made.

I was indeed reffering to Chuck and not sure where the Jim came from. But then half the time I can't remember who I am these days. That is a very nice looking rifle Joe and I hope it shoots as good as it looks.

Understood. I've always been bad with names but as I age I find myself looking at my driver's license in the morning while I shave to remember who
I
am.

Thanks, John. I did use it for the IS portion of the ISSA NW regional. Used bullets that came with the rifle. Very hard to breech seat with the Weber seater. First bench target was very poor. Leaned on my ole bud Jack for some of his Saeco tapered .32's. Could barely feel resistance when seating them. Second target was much much better. Most shots being in the 24 ring. Think it will be a good shooter. One of my OH targets had eight shots within the 21 ring and two way out in the 15 at eleven oclock. So, seems to agree with me as to fit.
Hint. AB is the initials of the builder.
Joe.

I know. I know who made it, but only because Joe sent me the pictures last week and told me who put it all together (rather magnificently if I may say so). But, I'm not going to let on who it was, I don't want to spoil Joe's fun.
I can say I knew of this gunsmith by reputation even over here on the other side of the 'Pond'

Such a sweet rifle pa, I really wish I had that one too.
Too many irons in the fire! The more I look at it, the more I wish I'd said screw the budget! Oh well, I have an 1885 that I love! Time to look forward
I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Joe, Think the initials gave it away. If it is who I think, it is one of the very best. Have never seen a single shot by him. Think he worked in your part of the country.
