That's some fine shooting Skalkaho. Is your 28-20 based on the 32-20 case?

My typo error Bob,is  28-30 not 28-20, changed it. Based on a 25-35 opened up straight taper. Heres pic of 38-55, 32-40 and 28-30 before cutting down and cut down to 25-35 height( really should be called 28-35? ) Pete

Pete I am also shooting a 28, the case is simply the 25-35 WW case blown out to 28. Maybe more properly called a 28-35. I like your case design and it seems to be working very well for you.

Pete it looks like it shoots pretty well for you  Smiley

When I looked at the stock on that rifle I thought gee, that looks a lot like the stock on my .38-50.  I just realized you are the same Pete that I bought that excellent rifle fom Smiley

Very impressive, the gun, the target, the workmanship and the marksmanship, all of them.

I couldn't agree more Walter, but I do feel somewhat sorry for the man who had to score that target.  Undecided

Need to reply to all, just real busy lately. Yes the gun is A joy to shoot. 12 twist barrel, as one member asked, so there it is.  Was built over 25 years ago and never shot. So I was the lucky one to wring it out and figure out the brass swaging, etc with the dies supplied. Thanks, Pete
