New bullets from old ones ?

I cast a bunch of bullets for testing. Some worked better than others. Can I melt and add to the melting furnace the ones I choose to not shoot? What about those which have been lubed? (All were cast from the same lead/tin blend.)

I think the lube will act like flux...

As re melted material is added to "the pot", is the resultant BH (hardness) of the new casting affected ?

I think I would mark some of them with a red marker and save those for fouling shots.

If I know the alloy I'll put them in with the same alloy. If not then they go in the scrap bucket and get made into a new batch of 20 to 24 pounds.
