Hank here is a link to one paper they recomend, it is 8# but I don't know the rag content.

Another paper that seems popular is the SethCole 55w, here is a link to that as well,

This guy has run a classified ad in the Journal for over a year.
Original sheets of Cranes bullet patching paper (no 7 bank note paper high finish) made about 1900.  I got this paper from the General Sales Manager at Cranes in 1993 and he indicated it was the last they had. 10 sheets of 16 x 21 in paper one thousand of an inch thick $15.00 plus $2.00 postage.  John Rountree, Box 363, Maplewood 07040
