ok I am going to try to post a couple pics hope it works. if it shoots as well as it looks I will be a happy camper. I know I have a lot of work getting the stock sanded and ready to go but I will take my time and get it done.

Most folks carry around photos of their children and or grandchildren and they want to show them to you.
I much prefer folks who do the same activity, but instead of children and or grandchildren, they want to show you their new Single Shot.
The latter is a lot more interesting and a heck of a good time.
Argie 1891, I hope you will take more photo as your new acquisition begins to take shape and character.
By the way, to post two or more photos subsequently, simply "click on" the word "ATTACHMENTS" multiple times and each time you do so there will be another fill-in address small window to open up, one underneath the
other which allows you to enter each photo's file name in each "choose file" window.
Thanks for showing the new "BABY" around. I would bet you can't wait to take her out to try some rounds.

Nice wood!
Take your time, work carefully to dress the wood down very near the metal, and don't be afraid to get rid of some wood in the stock itself. IMO, they leave plenty, and there is an outstanding stock inside if you take care.

yes I have done stock work and don't laugh but it I estimate it will take me between 50 and 60 hours. now I do work slow and do it all with sand paper. I don't work fast. I shot the rifle today. it really did well, but I have to admit I am not used to the set trigger but when I did my part it shot all bullets into one ragged hole at 50 yards. next trip to the 100 yard line should be Friday.

Hi Joe,
Anybody local that you trust as a gunsmith?
I can always use John Taylor but he is pretty backed up.
The job is simple but must be done right.
Thread, crown and chamber with a target type
.22 LR reamer.

Every time I got wood from Paul and Gail it has been better than i thought it should have been. Yours looks to be no exception.

I agree totally with 40 Rod on the wood I have received
from CPA, it always seemed to be a grade better than I expected.
