Norma TAC-22 Target Ammo

I was able to order some of this ammo after a shooter at Tacoma reported success with it last weekend.  Bullets.com had it for $6.75 a box (out of stock currently).  I tried it out this morning at 100 yds. and it performed very well.  The winds were light and variable so may have played some with the groups.  The first image shows CCI Greed Tag on the right with an 1-1/8 in group.  The group on the left is the Norma with 6 shots going 3/4".  These were shot with my Stevens 44 with a Douglas air gauged barrel that shoots most ammo very well.  The second image is with my new High Wall with a no-name barrel.  7 shots in 1-1/4" with last six in 3/4".

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Definitely.  It has a few peculiarities like most of my rifles. It is easy to push a round past the extractor if you are not careful. But that is easy to overlook when it it putting bullets where you are aiming!
