Enjoy your rifle and be sure to post some pictures.

Be warned. Once you get one its hard not to come up with a reason to buy another.

I am sorely tempted to have a 32-40 barrel made for my 44 1/2 22-15 to make it a little more shooter friendly.

How long did your rifle take to ship after you ordered it?

talked to gail the rifle she said the rifle was done a week ago, but then it needed some final adjustment. anyway it now has been shipped and according to the tracking information should reach me on the 29th. really not a long wait for a custom rifle. I ordered on feb,3, and will get it on april 29. I gota admit it could have taken longer. however that said the wait has been difficult  as I am not a very patient person. I am sure I will be happy with it. I haven't seen but a few cpa rifles but those I have seen were works of art. argie1891

86 days ... Feb 3rd to Apr 29th
    7,430,400 seconds
    123,840 minutes
    2064 hours
    86 days
    12 weeks (rounded down)
Not too shabby for a custom rifle.  Order a Shiloh and your looking close to 2 years!

Argie - Congratulations on your new 32-40.  Don't let us down ... Pictures!
BTW - What's going to be your next barrel caliber? Grin

now that is a good question.... I have a stevens m-44 that I converted to 25/20 Winchester. and I have a marlin cowboy in 38-55. I really like both calibers. it may sound stupid but I think a plain 30/30 Winchester would make a neat single shot. anyone have one in 30-30?????

I shot my new cpa for the first time today and I gota say I sold several handguns and rifles to be able to afford it... now I am thinking about selling some more. damn I didn't know what I had been missing. I wasn't sure about breach seating as I hadn't even seen it done before.. just like making love read the book and the rest comes naturally. wow I am going to the range again tomorrow I had 20 cases loaded with powder and felt wads and loaded 10 or so at the range. the only thing different I am going to do is increase the powder charge by 1 gr. to 14.5 gr. of 4227. I think it needs a bit more to burn the powder more effectively.   why didn't I learn about this when I was younger. weighed my rifle it came in at 12.5 lbs with leupold 24 power scope. ok enough I gota go clean my rifle don't have time to type. argie1891

Congratulations on both the purchase and the out of the box success, it can only get better from here. I am extremely happy to hear that the mould seems to be working out for you. I had allot of success with that bullet my friend and I hope you have the same.

Beautiful Rifle!

Not a single shot 30-30 but I feed this reload single shot into my '94 Winchester

Buy the Ideal 311413 mold on eBay, I see it frequently listed
