Powder measure running low

I have always sort of erred on the side of caution, and kept an inch or more of powder in the measure.   Today, I was running low and thought I'd see how much effect could be seen.
The last weights were 75.0, 75.1, 74.8, 74.2, 72.5, 8.5, 1.9.  How about that?!!  Only the last 4 were seriously affected.   The measure is an old  Hollywood drum-type, good machine.

I made a custom cap for my B&M measure for BP that has a 'float' that rides on top of the powder and stick out the top until there is only 2" left in the hopper (close to twice the height of the original). That keeps the volume/ weight more consistent as it will start to vary as the level drops

What powder?
These msmts were made whilst dispensing powder vials of Swiss 1.5Fg powder for an up-coming match.
The measure is slightly modified by putting a tiny piece of rubber in the retaining slot in the rotor.    This keeps it from "knocking" when it reaches the "fill" position.   I made a test years ago that showed weight SD of 0.15 gr when throwing 50 gr of powder ( n=20 ) -- plenty good enough.
