i have a possible line on a limited edition Miroku/Winchester 1885 in .32-40, but I can't seem to find so much as a photo. Anyone know what the barrel length, weight and twist might have been on these rifles, and who made the barrels?

Bob, I just saw that one. Can't tell from photo if barrel is moderately heavy octagon, or twist rate ...

Identical to the one I had. Sold it here 4yr ago and wonder if that is it? Anyway, is something between a #2 & #3 profile full-octagon barrel and very nicely balanced. If you look at the pic's the tag on the end of the box reads 28". It never occurred to me to measure the twist when I had mine, but it shot the 170gr bullets just fine. Just would not knock over the rams at 200m. They are nice, accurate rifles.

That's my gun, bought it new.  IIRC twist is 1:16.  Yes, they are nice, accurate rifles.

I too own one and I love it. I shoot Meister cast 170 Gr bullets behind 15 gr of IMR 4227 for a field load and a gallery load of 5 Gr unique using the same bullet.Shoots great!
