I am not familiar with the Sportco. It looks like a model 15 action. Can you tell us the story on this one? VERY nice!

Not a M15 action, but that unusual aperture sight sort of makes it look like one.

I'd guess a 12/15 and in looking closer, the aperture sight is mounted on the rear side of the receiver.
