MVA Scope Surprise

I have a dovetail mounted full length MVA scope on a 32" barrel Sharps. I was thinking of scoping my 34" barreled one. I called MVA to see what my options are, I was surprised to say the least. MVA told me for about $90 they can put new tubes on my scope. They can go shorter or longer even go to barrel mount instead of dovetail mounted. I was expecting to have to buy another scope or at least spend hundreds to convert. So if anyone else is thinking of go up or down in length on a MVA scope the price to do it is really good.

My B5 was one of the first produced hash marked turret not micrometer. When they came out with the Mike style turrets called to see if I could order one. MVA said send it back they upgraded to the Mike style for the difference in retail cost. Think it was less than 100 bucks shipping and all.

That's one reason I always jump on any scope thread recommending them.

If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.
