had the opportunity to reach out and take home a nice looking #2. excellent price! all patina on the outside, good wood refinished in the past, just oil finish. bore poor, but after much cleaning weith wire brushes and kroil was able to see some rifling. Broken beech front sight(globe gone as well as the pin) but blade remains. replaced front sight with a blade from a Shiloh. after several rounds able to shoot a quarter-sized group at ten yds., offhand.
The straight line extractor was broken off just at the end of the barrel. need help in removing the piece that remains. Could you remove the barrel with the extractor piece intact?you can place a probe thru the extractor screw hole so the broken piece is intact to the rear of the screw.
need extractor, extractor screw, and trigger spring.
All in pieces now, will post pictures when assembled. probably will leave in brown for now, Comments? Smiley Lips Sealed, come on guys, I need help!  john
